~ FEBRUARY 12 – STUFFED SHELLS DINNER ~
We will have Stuffed Shells Dinner on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to
6:00 P.M. Dinners
are $8.00 for adults;
children age 12 and under are $6.00. The deadline for tickets is 12:00
noon on Friday, February 10. To reserve your dinner, call Dot King at
302-994-0073 or Phyllis Pini at 302-354-1356. You can also purchase
dinner
tickets at the Pub on Wednesday nights. ~ FEBRUARY 10 – DECORATING THE IRISH CENTER We will decorate the Irish
Center for our valentine events on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M. We hope all of our decorators will join us
for a fun time.
~ FEBRUARY 11 – A VALENTINE DANCE FEATURING THERESA FLANAGAN On Saturday evening we will have a Valentine Dance from 8:00 P.M. to 12:00 Midnight featuring Theresa Flanagan and her band who will play a blend of Irish and American music.Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in the Pub on Wednesday evenings or reserved by calling Dot King at 302-994-0073 or Phyllis Pini at 302-345-1356. A cash bar will be available. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be served. It will be greatly appreciated, but not required, if our guests would bring a dessert to share. Call early so your table and seating can be reserved. ~ FEBRUARY 19 – VALENTINE CEILI AND POT LUCK DINNER ~ Our Ceili will be held on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. This dance is also a Pot Luck dinner, so it will be a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with good food and socializing with friends. Attendees are asked to bring a dish of food to share for the dinner. Live music by Pancho, Kevin and Jimmy will be featured. Admission is $12.00 for members and $13.00 for non-members. Our bar will be open to purchase your favorite beverages. ~ FEBRUARY 24 -- UNDECORATE THE IRISH CENTER ~ We will un-decorate the Irish Center on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M. We hope our decorating crew can join us for a fun time. ~ FEBRUARY 26 – BUS
TRIP TO THE SHOW BOAT
CASINO WITH BREAKFAST We will have a bus trip to
the Show Boat Casino on Sunday morning with breakfast at the Irish Center
before we leave. Breakfast will be
served from 8:30 to 10:00 A.M. and the bus will leave for the Casino at 10:15
A.M. The cost of the trip is $30.00. You will receive a $30.00 voucher from the
Show Boat Casino when we arrive. You will need a photo ID or your Show Boat Card
to receive the voucher. These trips have
always been fun and many of our travelers come home winners, so bring your
friends and enjoy the day. Tickets can be purchased in the Pub on Wednesday
nights or by calling Phyllis Pini at 302-354-1356. The cut-off date to purchase
tickets is Wednesday, February 22. (Tickets must be paid for by the cut-off
date and can be picked up at the Irish Center on the day of the trip.) |

Irish Library, located in our Center, is open to the public on
Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and other hours on
request. Stop in and see the new items we have acquired. We
are a lending library for most of our books, music and videos. We
have a comprehensive collection including travel, Irish arts and
crafts, history, literature and more, including Ireland of the Welcomes
magazines. We offer a comfortable sitting area for browsing or
