on Sunday afternoon; from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. Music will be provided by DJ, John
Shields. Admission
is $14.00 for members, $15.00 for non-members. Our

October 18 – Ghouls & Gallic Adult Halloween Party ~
GAELIC & GHOULS - In Ireland the ancient Celtic festival of Sanhain meant the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter. Come join us as we celebrate our heritage at a Halloween Party on Saturday, October 18th, 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Food will include a pig roast, chicken and sides. The music from DJ Shubie will entertain us. Costumes are optional. Cost is $45.00 per person. Contact the office at 302-658-8288 for tickets.

October 26 – Halloween Trunk-Or-Treat ~
We
will host a Halloween Party for our member’s children and grand-children, and
the children in the Cleland Heights/Latimer neighborhood from 2:00 to 5:00
p.m. This year we are going to have some
indoor activities for the children and then the children will go outside to
collect their “Treats” from the “Trunk-to-Treaters” who have set-up in our
parking lot. Call

know if you want to help.
~ November 2 – A Rescheduled Afternoon with Andy Cooney ~
Andy Cooney has been rescheduled to Sunday, November 2nd, at 3:00p.m. The door opens at 2:15 p.m. If you were unable to be at the show in August now’s your chance. Tickets are $55.00. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a cash bar and Door Prizes. To purchase tickets or for information or please call 302-658-8288.

November 15 – An Annual Authentic Irish Breakfast ~
The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, St Brigid-1 and the NCCIS will host an “Authentic” Irish Breakfast Fundraiser, at the NCCIS Irish Center, to benefit Hibernian charities and the NCCIS. The time is 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. The cost is $25.00 for Adults and $10.00 for Children under 10. The menu: bangers, black/white pudding, potato farls, brown bread, soda bread, scones; desserts; coffee, Irish tea, Kerry butter, assorted jams; and a cash bar. BOOK CLUB ~
We
are looking to start a monthly Book Club this fall. We would meet on a Sunday
afternoon to expand the availability as much as possible. We will be taking
advantage of the Book Club that is available through the Delaware Libraries.
Each kit comes packaged with a large quantity of the titles and discussion
questions. You are of course welcome to acquire a copy of the monthly selection
through other means if you’d prefer. If you are interested please contact Cathy

Be on the lookout for our now Annual 10 Week Club tickets. There are a few changes. Tickets will now be $20.00 or 3 for $50.00. However, the prizes each week have grown. Details are in the 10 Week letter. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participates.

will be selling Poinsettias this year for your holiday decorating. We have found a new supplier for the
